About Body Science:
The Kompressor Z compression clothing range from the BSC recently underwent a rigorous and intense scrutiny process from the Manly Sea Eagles Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Donny Singe.
During the early off season 2006 I literally took the lower limb compression garments and along with a couple of NRL players, proceeded to bash, batter and absolutely flog them. Unfortunately this was impossible to achieve without us actually wearing the garments, so we in fact proceeded to bash, batter and absolutely flog ourselves!!!!
Great news….WE SURVIVED and so too the Kompressor Z!!
The garments were targeted as performance enhancers and recovery agents. The garments in fact succeeded in both arenas.
60 x 120kg on an incline Leg Press for 4 sets, 360 degree lunges with 40kgs for 4 sets and explosive box jumps followed by a 40minute speed interval bike session, was a nice tester, even better was the 10km run the very next morning!
The compression garment was fully effective in containing the natural oscillation of muscle fibres (shaking) which occurs from fatigue, this enables greater control over the alignment of joints and fluid action of the body’s mechanics when in motion. Yeah a bit of bladdy blah…in other words, your exercise form doesn’t go to shot when your primary muscles start to fatigue, even more importantly, your (synergist), smaller assisting muscles involved in movements, also maintain their stability.
